There is something so wonderful about starting the day with an affogato (espresso and vanilla ice cream or gelato) for breakfast.
Today I arrived a few minutes early in the North Beach cafe (Caffe Grecco) for a meeting with an animator who owns his own business with a partner. I am meeting him to talk about his business and for a case study. He lives across town in San Francisco, so meeting in the city works. After our meeting, I hit a frequent chocolate haunt in this neighborhood: Z Ciaccolatos, and I buy 2 small peanut clusters to eat. (These are Good - Very Good, and they go well with a decaf latte to go from Figaros afterward on my way out.)
