This is Day #2 of chocolate and cherry week. (This is much easier than chocolate and meat week, which was last week's theme.) This was a very nice chocolate. The marzipan around the cherry was natural tasting, and the cherry, in the cherry & liqueur center, looked like it had been a real cherry at one time as well. Too often in more popular chocolate and cherry candies, sugar, corn syrup, and perhaps artificial flavorings, seems to overpower what the natural cherry taste might have been. Chocolates like this remind you of what's possible with this combination.
