Today's Mountain Cardamom 60% Dairy-Free Dark Milk Chocolate (bar) was from Primo Chocolate.
The cardamom in this bar (from Burlap & Barrel in New York) was grown by "farmers in Alta Verapaz, Guatemala." The small cardamom pods grow on a "tropical vine in cloud forests." And the cacao was sourced from Ecuador.
Aroma and flavor notes included: dark, relatively sweet chocolate; lovely aromatic cardamom; and very faint coconut.
Texture: smooth, relatively creamy, almost velvety, melt and mouthfeel.
