And now a chocolate egg from the Far East -- and by that I mean Vermont, since I live on the West Coast (of the U.S., in California).Lake Champlain Chocolates (Burlington, VT) makes a variety of different chocolates. Today I tried their Milk Chocolate Caramel Eggs. Each half egg (flat on the back side) was individually wrapped in gold foil, and embossed with a curved row of stars, the Lake Champlain stag, and the word "Vermont."
Today was Day #9 of Chocolate Egg Appreciation Theme Week. I may extend this week, depending on how many chocolate eggs I can find. Perhaps April 2011 will be Chocolate Egg Appreciation Month, and come Easter (Sunday, April 24), I'll still be hunting for more chocolate eggs.
