Welcome to Day #10 of Chocolate and Indiana Theme Week.

It's hard to visit Indianapolis without hearing about the Indianapolis 500 Motor Speedway (Speedway, IN)—home to one of the largest sporting events in the U.S.

The racetrack area is so large you need to get an aerial view. I didn't have that opportunity, but I took some unexciting photos from ground level—of the stadium seating and the gift shop. Sadly, from what I could see, the small shop did not carry chocolate items.

However, as I was leaving Indianapolis, I found a Milk Chocolate Race Car from DeBrand Fine Chocolates (Fort Wayne, IN). At 2.1 oz. (60.1 g.), it was too small to drive. However, it was fun to eat.

Welcome to Day #9 of Chocolate and Indiana Theme Week.

Bees are important pollinators for food crops, and also provide us with honey. Today's gluten- and grain-free Clay's Chocolate Buzz Warrior Mix from BeeFree, LLC (Cicero, IN) was the perfect start to a day spent navigating four different airports.

As a gluten-free road warrior today, I really appreciated a Warrior Mix like this. This cross between a soft, crumbly cookie and a granola-type cereal was naturally sweet, nutty and chocolatey.

And instead of being made from the usual mix of oats and grains it was created with almonds and almond meal, honey, coconut, and seeds (pumpkin and sunflower).

Welcome to Day #8 of Chocolate and Indiana Theme Week.

Indiana is home to several fine universities, including Purdue and Notre Dame.

The "Fighting Irish" is the collective name of the varsity (sports) teams at University of Notre Dame. While the University's school colors are gold and blue, today's green and gold packaged Irish Mint Almonds would likely please Fighting Irish fans—and all others as well.

The mint flavor added a refreshing touch to these jumbo sized chocolate confections with a crunchy almond center.
