My daughter has a long history of bringing home unauthorized pets - without my permission (if that isn't already clear). And despite my protests, most end up staying. Today, I spent some time letting "Thumper" one of two rabbits romp around the living room; and I feed a squirrel or two at our back door a few raw nuts. You're not supposed to feed chocolate to dogs and cats, or pets in general. The rumor is that it can kill them. Euphanasia by chocolate. If only life and death (and reducing pet overpopulation) were that simple.
Fortunately, on my trip to SF/Chocolate Heaven (Pier 39, San Francisco), I picked up a second chocolate to try later. So, today, I brought this turtle to work to try: one large dark chocolate walnut turtle.
It was Good - Very Good.
~3.9 oz. = ~ 550 calories?
I also went out to lunch with two colleagues. No wonder I'm having trouble fitting into some pairs of pants this spring.
In the evening I watched youtube.com videos to relax. Chocolate videos on the web. I haven't checked yet, but it's inevitable of course - with every possible search term that I've tried yielding some interesting result. I haven't seen chocolate items on that guy's cat (stuff on my cat), but, it's only a matter of time.
