Today's chocolate, a single origin, E. Guittard Ambanja Bittersweet (65% cacao) bar, was made from cacao beans from Madagascar, and it had nice, rich flavors.
Misc. notes: This evening I attended a "jewelry party" and got to catch up with an ex-colleague from consulting days. It was great to see her. We talked about life, my silly chocolate bet, what I'm doing at work, etc. She looked slim and very healthy. This reminds me that I need to lose a few pounds I've put on this year. Ah, trade-offs.
