Today I had the "amarula" flavored chocolate from the Cosmic Chocolates 8-pc assortment. It was Very Good. It was a very nice flavor. I'm not sure exactly what it was, but it was quite nice.
This ~.5 oz. piece of chocolate came from a $19.99/assortment box from Z. Cioccolatos in North Beach, San Francisco, CA.
We had some layoffs at work this week. I'm glad to be employed still and to have a steady income - so I can afford these silly expensive chocolates, and to go up to San Francisco on weekends to write and play around, and buy more chocolates. I'm also grateful to have a few minutes to enjoy the warmer weather, the smell of honeysuckle in the backyard in the evenings, and all the roses in bloom in my yard. And, I get to extend some invites to a few people for a behind-the-scenes screening of "Shrek the Third" this month. Life is good, and I am grateful.
