In 2006, my daughter bet I couldn't eat a different chocolate each day for a year. I enjoyed that year so much that, after 15+ years, I'm still eating a different chocolate every day. Happily, even after 5,600+ chocolates, there are still many more to try. Thank you to all who continue to be part of this global adventure.

Welcome to Day #14 of Chocolate and Hawaii Theme Weeks.
Made in Hawaii from cacao that was planted, grown, harvested and dried in Hawaii, this 100% Hawaiian cacao bar was a great blend of creamy and crunchy, pure single origin chocolate goodness. There's something to be said for being a vertically-integrated operation, although I'm sure there is more work involved. Wearing multiple hats as cacao grower, fermenter/chemist and chocolate maker (and chocolate educator) is likely satisfying and, at times, exhausting.
Today's bar had balanced, pure "true" chocolate flavor (chocolate brownie, enhanced by crunchy, cocoa nibs) and light caramel, fermented and fruit notes.
