Welcome to Day #14 of Chocolate and Ecuador Theme Week.

Tonight's impromptu fondue backyard get-together involved two vats of solar-melted dark chocolate: one was made with 15 different melted 70%-75% cacao chocolate bars.

And the second pot was made from a collection of 100% cacao bars (i.e. no sugar). Ecuador bars were heavily represented.

Both dark and ultra-dark chocolate fondue blends were good, and were enjoyed with fresh fruits, marinated figs, persimmon bread, roasted walnuts and almonds, graham crackers and marshmallows, and many other shared items. (Thank you to those who participated!)
