What is Chocolate Infinity? I wasn't sure, but I liked the sound of it.
Today's Magnum Chocolate Infinity and Raspberry ice cream bars were made of "Dark chocolate ice cream with a raspberry swirl, dipped in dark (Belgian) chocolate and cocoa bean nibs"—all this, frozen, on a stick.Each Magnum ice cream bar was sealed in its own gold foil wrapper. When unwrapped (best to use scissors to open at one end), this frozen treat looked a bit like a typical chocolate covered ice cream bar.
But this bar delivered a complex, bittersweet, layered flavorful experience—with sweet raspberry fruit high notes, and cocoa nibs that added tiny bursts of extra dark, crunchy cocoa essence. It was a very indulgent and enjoyably sophisticated ice cream experience. I don't know if kids will like these, but this adult sure did.
The bar contained Rainforest Alliance Certified Cocoa.
