Last night was New Year's Eve. And, I stayed up late talking on the phone, and watching youtube videos of the ball dropping in Times Square, New York City at midnight.
So, a Cappuccino truffle (i.e. something with some chocolate and coffee in it) from Godiva sounded appropriate.
To greet the New Year, I fixed black-eyed peas and greens (honoring a Southern tradition); took a walk out by the San Francisco Baylands (along with many, many others who had the same idea); cleaned up the house; and went to a movie. I feel like 2008 will be a better year. Yes, I do.
