One great discovery from the latest Luxury Chocolate Salon in San Francisco (yesterday) was Chocolate Momotombo from Nicaragua. Today's chocolate: the company's cacao nibs "covered in fine chocolate" contained a variety of pleasing roasted flavor notes: from corn nuts to toasted almonds.

What's in a Vice Chocolates "Slayer" truffle? Think vampires, and you might come up with the answer: garlic, and balsamic vinegar.  Just the right amount of each made for an interesting truffle. I look forward to trying more creative flavors from Vice.
